To unpost or delete a video on TikTok, follow these simple steps:
Open TikTok: Open the TikTok app and if not on the login screen, logout then login in again.
Go to Your Profile: To view your videos click the profile icon located at the lower right part of the page.
Select the Video: Go in for your profile and search for the particular video that you want to unpost in or delete.
Tap on the Video: Click on the video to open it.
Access the Menu: You should see three dots commonly referred to as an ellipsis at the bottom right of the screen; Tap it.
Delete the Video: In the menu that comes up on the screen, scroll down in search of the delete button. Then ensure that you choose to delete the video.
Note: Thank you to TikTok’s interface and terms of use, one cannot restore a deleted video because it is gone from the platform for good. Double check to ensure you are sure that you want the video out of the public domain before going forward.
If you do not wish to completely discard your video instead of removing it you can make it private so only you can see it. It makes it easy for you to undo it if you change your mind later in the future.
