  • Suhagra 100 - Mechanism of Action

Cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) is broken down by phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5), an enzyme that is blocked by Suhagra 100 Tablet in the corpus cavernosum of the penis. When a person is sexually aroused, nitric oxide is released, which triggers guanylate cyclase and increases cGMP levels. An erection can occur as a result of the smooth muscles in the penile blood vessels relaxing, increasing blood flow to the penis.

It can be dangerous to take Suhagra tablet along with drugs that contain nitrate, which are frequently prescribed for chest pain. Do not take this medication if you have low blood pressure, have had a heart attack or stroke recently, or if you have severe problems with your heart or liver.
